those things lie. without going all out in it, basicly some detectives showed up on my door, trying to tell me that they know this dude that stole the car i was in that night robbed the store that night and that's why we ran when the cop flashed it's lights (the fucking car was stolen! my god i just wanted to slap them.. "unless your buddy did the deed why would you run?" "because the goddamned car was stolen you fuckhead!") anyways this goes on awhile, eventually they tell me that if they find out im' lying for him i'm going to jail for the stolen car (which technically they could do, i did know it was stolen and all) so i say (keep in mind they were not getting off my ass, they weren't going to leave til i admitted to it) "look, take me down there and polygraph test me" (thinking they always tell the truth) so they take me, test me twice, and say that i am lying becuase the results came out 'in-conclusive' .... the dude didn't do what they accused him of, i lied about absolutely nothing on the test (they asked me if there was anything i was nervous about durring the testing and i said "yea, i knew the car was stolen and i lied about it, that's about it") all in all, i submitted only what they wanted to hear, he doesn't have a gun, and we were on the other side of town when the robbery was happening.... all in short, i had to submit "yes, he robbed the store, he had a gun, he threw it out the window durring the chase" .... oh well, the dude i'm talking about always has like 30 warrants for him, which, he still hasn't been caught.... and if they did bring me into testify, it'd come to light in the middle of court how i was pressured (i mean, these cops might as well of been off some corrupt tv-cop show.... cuz it wasn't just trying to pressure me, it was more like, look we know he didn't do it, our asses are on the lines if you don't admit to it we're going to throw everything we have at you, admit to it and we'll let you go, type of shit) into submitting a lie... i was nervous at the time, baby was on the way or i would have drawn it out, but i don't exactly have a spotless record and with a baby on the way i couldn't afford to chance it.
