question about tv show 24
Sodium Pentathol is the main one I've heard of.
Overdosing causes one to fall into a deep coma, then die.
Ah, the same drug used as a truth serum is used for lethal injection in California. What a beautiful world.
By the way, Fabolous, have you ever seen the movie lost boys? It's only scary because of kiefer sutherland's voice.Mira el foto grande

question about tv show 24
from what i've heard about "truth-agents" atleast the ones i have heard about, that it forces you to tell the truth cuz it like cuts off some nerve endings or something, or makes them go to sleep, from the 'creative' side of your brain, which means you are forced to do nothing bgut tell the truth since you can't create a lie....

While fictional accounts of intelligence interrogation gives these drugs near magical abilities, information obtained by publicly-disclosed truth drugs has been shown to be highly unreliable, with subjects apparently freely mixing fact and fantasy. Much of the claimed effect relies on the belief of the subject that they cannot tell a lie while under the influence of the drug.
From what I can tell, the last use of sodium thiopental (pentathol in laymen's terms) as a truth serum was during the KGB. It was revived to interrogate the "terrorists" of 9/11, but failed. Horribly.Mira el foto grande

Yeah, I heard that 'truth serums' are a load of bollocks. Maybe its just a psychological thing, like the FBI/KGB/whatever say its a truth serum and the subject then psychologically thinks theyre under the influence of it, and spills the beans.
I think threatening to cut their bollocks off is more effective, or a black and decker to the knees like the IRA did. That proved pretty effective.

I think the best type of truth serum would be a little game I like to called "find your genitals in the vat of lime" followed by a game of "russian roulette: STD style"
