Nine is not an uncommon age to start being curious and attracted. My guess is that his "friends" told him about the sites, and of course, he was curious and wanted to be cool with his friends. I wouldn't make a big deal about it, let him think that he got away with something. As suggested, I would promptly put a filter on what he has access to (or he'll be visiting really nasty sites before long).

The best thing a father can teach his son at a young age, is how to engage in friendships with girls his age, and how to respect them as people. If you focus on that, you'll have a foundation to build on when he's really interested in sex.

I'm going to talk to him about this his next visit, and I'll cetainly 'not' be telling his mother, lol! He's showing interest in woman, and sex, and it is probably better to explain things sooner than later.

I will put him on punishment, though. Not because of what he looked at, but because he lied to me when I asked. I don't want my boy to think it's ok to lie. Don't talk to him about it yet, it'll just embarrass him. Either he'll come to you or wait a few weeks to talk to him about sex. He may only be nine but I know of a few 9 year olds with dirty ass minds and definitly have the whole "sex" thing down without any help from their parents.
