Bad temper when you quit?

mojoke Reviewed by mojoke on 04-01-2006. Bad temper when you quit? I've been smoking atleast once a day for afew months and I decided to make my tolerance go down. It's been 4 days and my emper is worse than it ever was. I've always had an extremely bad temper which has to do with my OCD and ADHD. But it never has gotten this bad. I was playing my guitar and I messed up on the same note 3 times in a row and lost it. Has anyone else experienced this? If so is there anyway to get around having a bad temper? Rating: 5

Yeah...I know all to well about what your referring to. My husband has a horrible streak of a temper when we're without smoke....and, unfortunately, we moved to NC and haven't been able to make contacts so we've had to deal with moodiness for a little while now. In FL we never had a hard time finding it and up here even though I know a lot of people do it, we just can't make contacts...its sucks!!! But, someone said that after a few wks it gets easier, and it does...but we still crave it, I wake up each morning hoping to find some...no luck yet though

I think the only time I get a bad temper is right when I'm about to smoke or rolling something. Because I have my mind set on smoking and I don't want some dumbass friend of mine doing something stupid, so I get bitchy and mean to keep them in line. But after I smoke, I'm the nicest person.

I'm taking a break right now and I feel fine. It's like the high of being sober if you kind of know what I mean. I feel pretty great. AMAZING.
