Dont worry about them facing bad weather - it is a weed after all. As long as you plant them outside after the frost has cleared up (usually around May) theyll be fine.
What I would do is germinate and plant them indoors, then after 2 weeks take them outside. If you havent had a fan on the plants to help the stem grow stronger, just cut a 2 litre coke bottle in half, take the lid off and dig that in around the soil so that the plant is inside the bottle, but it can still get fresh air and a little breeze from the hole in the top. This also helps bugs stay off it, but you will have to remove it eventually as the plant outgrows its little shelter. It will take longer to bud outdoors - if germinated in May, youre looking at an August harvest, most probably September depending on the strain.
