yeah, such a dick that california taxpayers alone had to foot the bill for a 500 million dollar loss from illegals skipping out on their medical bills and another 300 million in arizona...all in 2004...one year! now multiply that by all the other years not included along with all the other things government provides illegals that taxpayers pay for and maybe you'll see what all the fuss is about...then there's the open border-terrorism issue along with all the smuggling and throughout the southwest there's a problem with illegals not having vehicle insurance and skipping out when they damage property, or worse!. what is there to argue about here?

As for the open-border terrorism issue, then wouldn't we have to close the canadian border as well? A while back a terrorist who was planning a bombing in LA was stopped at the canadian border. Besides, are there not illegal aliens of different backgrounds other than hispanic living in LA? I've noticed a lot of people from the Middle East around here, del. You know you have, too.
