expose foam to direct light.It will cause the foam to start decomposing releasing florocarbon i don't think this would be good for plant life.Why do you think it's no good to throw out styrofoam take out container's they want you to recycle for that reason:twocents:

What size do I need, What power of light will I need-100,250, etc. Would hetal halide be the best, I would love to try that light that has both HPS and MH but the total output I'm sure would be way too much.
