What a Monday

I just thought I would rant about today not being a very good day for me. Mostly it's because I don't have any weed. I ran out before the weekend. I should have a quarter in my stash, but the mail hasn't come thru. It's ridiculous that I can't stop by the quickie mart and pick up a pack of joints. I can get several other drugs there, just not mj. It's just as ridiculous that we all come on here and post about mj, but we can't get together and help each other out or just get together and blaze. I need a reliable hook up in town. That really shouldn't be that hard, but it is. Where did it all go wrong? Plus work sucks and then you die. I can't sleep lately. I 'm always running from here to there, always in a hurry. The yard needs to be worked on, the toilet keeps running...It's like my mother used to say, "It's always something. If it's not one thing, it's another.I just want to relax and blaze. Sorry so negative, but... this too shall pass.

Dang neighbor....really sorry to hear that your Monday sucked as bad as mine. I lost a very large income boost due to a very, very, very difficult client. Damn him and the jackass he rode in on. Sorry bastard cost me a LOT of money. I wish him nothing but moldy smoke full of seeds and stems the rest of his life!!!

The only saving grace for me is that a good friend came through for me this weekend. Thank goodness.....keeps me from going nutsy fagan!!!

I was in your neck of the woods on Saturday eating some mighty fine barbecue in Euless. Sure was worth the drive.

Wish we lived closer....we could help each other out during the droughts. We still need to have a babyback rib-a-thon over at the bbq joint near you.

Sorry about your client. I have this one big case here at work and if it gets placed it will make our year, if not...I don't want to think about it. Main St bbq is the best and it's less than a mile from my house. We've got to get together onward. This cloak and dagger stuff is gettin on my nerves.
Tuesday is looking better. No mj, but maybe someday. I would start trying to grow my own, but my wife wouldn't have it and it would worry me too much with young children in the house and the fear of the vice squad coming in with guns drawn is just too much.

Roger that bssman. Man, that Main Street can smoke up some dang good ribs, brisket, ham, etc. The sides aren't all that special, but the meat is excellent.

I agree that the cloak and dagger stuff gets old. I think that under more "norml" circumstances, many of us would have already broken the ice and found some new friends locally. But everyone is just as wary as you and me. But I'm game to come over and see how many rib bones we can clean if you are.

Are you a basketball fan? Gonna watch the NCAA games this weekend?

Hey dudes. I'm in McKinney. Haven't watched NCAA for years but I caught my home town team, LSU whoop TU. They were so having fun and TU was all like serious and angry the whole time. I love this game. I see Big Baby going places. Why aren't you guys active in the Cannabis lounge? I'm been having big fun posting there and meeting some cool potheads. I gots to cut back from this board though. Kind of a wate of time picking up virtual friends.
Speaking of dry spells, I'm practically drug free since I moved here last July. It kind of sucks. Lately I've been tricking myself into believing I'm high and I kind of get off on it. Right now I have a headache, though.

I'm a casual basketball fan. I'll probably watch some this weekend, but with t-ball, gymnastics and everything else I'm not sure I will see much. With BBQ it's all about the ribs, the sides? not so much.

When you referred to the "lounge", did you mean the chat room or the main forum board? I kind of stay away from the chat room because, like bssman said, it's almost always kids name calling and trashtalking while stoned. Not really very interesting for us older fellers.

And the main forum board seems to be about "what are you listening to right now" and "wtf?" and "what is your favorite strain?". I just gravitated to the Texas board because I thought that perhaps I might actually make a new local (not cyber) friend who enjoys the same hobby.

Anyway, I'm certainly interested in sharing some good barbecue and seeing what we might be able to stir up together. I'm free this Saturday for all of the mid-day if you are. And I could certainly be enticed to drive over to the mid-cities for some good ribs. Do you know if they are open for lunch on Saturday these days?
