Whenever I smoke too much I try to watch TV (preferably something calm, nothing that will make me excited), so that I concentrate more on what's going on in the television than what I'm feeling. Usually though, I just talk myself down from the paranoia. "Yes, you are really baked right now. You're not going to die, you just need to calm down... etc" Just reason your way out of it.

The pot really relaxes me so I can unwind, and helps me sleep. But last night I smoked a little too much and instead of relaxed, got a little tense and edgy; not paranoid or anything, just tensed up by the pot, a little overwhelmed by the effects.
