Cotyledons not fully opening
nfmSinsemilla Jones Reviewed by Sinsemilla Jones on . Cotyledons not fully opening So interesting thing, a White Widow doesn't wanna fully open its cotyledons! (seed leaves) I can clearly see the typical and appropriate true leaf growth coming along full speed ahead, but I'm wondering if I should clip the cotyledons out of the way. The other seed that was sprouted with this one has had its cotyledons open longer already. Rating: 5

I clipped 'em. The first true leaves are shrivelling a bit now, but the next set is coming full bore. It'll be fine, just needs a couple days.

Well, that next set is pretty much here, there's barely a small set coming after that. It's way behind my other plant, and also other plants that I've grown before. Could it just be bad genetics? I know if I plant a new seed, it shouldn't take long for it to sprout and grow (although I hate killing off an expensive seed).
