Alternating node = when the plant is young, leave sets (nodes) come ONE-on-the-left and ONE-on-the-right. When the plant is mature, the nodes are ONE-on-the-left, nothing on the right... a little further up the stem, ONE-on-the-right, nothing on the left. Alternating.

Watts... as much as you possibly can afford. Never too much.
