Hi all, this is my first post - glad to be here :smokin:

I recently ran into some free bud with seed, but I don't know what strain (or even species - sativa, indica, or hybrid) it is. It was decent stuff, and free (viable) seeds are always great. I would like to know if there is a way I can get an idea as to the genetics behind the plant though. Once there is some growth, is it possible to generalize the genetics by the phenotypic expression (leaf size, shape, vertical height, color, etc)? It has a kind of stoney quality to it, leading me to believe it has a moderate indica heritage. The problem is I don't have much to compare it with; I've never been exposed to anything high in sativa pedigree. I will be able to compare it to some Nirvana Haze, though not soon.

Just out of curiosity to anyone else in primative countries like the US (when it comes to herb); has anyone found it hard to find true breeding strains like Northern Lights, White Widow, Haze, etc? I've found it is next to impossible to find high quality herb of known genetics around here, and its really depressing ...
