    Seattle hype

Hiya --I'm a stubborn old guy who's never given up on his days of high school fun. Still play sports and go skiing and smoke spleef. But I just moved to Seattle, where everyone seems to be on valium or anti-depressants or sumthin.

The dope scene is looking mighty overhyped. Been here awile now and seen no quality herb whatso-friggin-ever. Can't believe how good I had it in NYC, where you dial a # and the guy shows up at your door w/in a half hour, packing serious buds. :stoned:

Any words of wisdom out there? Anyone been through this before? I know I can always make the roadtrip up to Canada, but I sorta thought I'd find some cool US types close by and local to hang with.

    Hey dhracer,

yea, know what u mean. Seattle is a very "stuck up" kind of place, not at all hip like cali (bay area & LA). I spent several years on the eastside near you (bellevue, renton, kirkland, redmond, etc) and find that it really sucks up there. Some down here to cali, and you'll have a much easier time.

Geez, I guess that says it all in two replies --thanks. I am on the Eastside awright, where people drive below the speed limit always. Looks like I better take a weekend road trip to Cali or Canada after all. . .cause the needle-in-a-haystack search around here just ain't my kinda fun

hmm, everone from seattle is on antidepressants, and they are all stuck up?

I haven't found that to be the case, and I think it's easy to find the good chronic just about anywhere, just follow your nose.

if you like NYC so much, why he hell did you ever leave?

were you re-assigned by the DEA?

good bud is definately around, but it is hard to come by cause dealers can make cash selling anything. Best bet is to grow your own or meet more people.

thanks Tilt, sounds like good advice. Guess I just needed to hear it.

420, lighten up. By "stubborn" I only meant I refused to give up living and thinking like a youngster --though I gotta say, I sure am glad I left behind those days when I was needlessly offended and pointlessly paranoid and thought the DEA was the big bad bogey man. . .but you may be right, if other Seattle-ites read at your comprehension level I'll probably never find someone get stoned with
