Randy Brush is a father of 3 kids and a former carpenter who was injured on the job. He then learned that he had several serious medical conditions. The pain pills the doctors gave him made him unable to function. At a friend's urging, he tried mmj and it worked! He was able to be a father to his children again. He grew 4 plants to supply himself with medicine. He was narked on and busted. He got 3 years. Right now, he is so depressed that he is refusing to take his medications- or at least that is what the jail is saying! It wouldn't be the first time that medication has been withheld from a prisoner. Please write to Randy and also to the jail to insure that he gets humane treatment (meds on time, proper dosage, etc). Thank you for posting this... Randy is a dear friend of mine and it warms my heart to see such compassion here.... I talked with him yesterday and hes down (of course) but I promised him Id keep fighting to get him out of jail...
I told him of the support he has out here and hes so touched.... He sends his love to everyone.....

There you will find a long thread titled, "Our Randy Brush and his sentencing" Tonya's comment #36 gives the whole thing in a nutshell. Randy could use all the letters we can send him. 39 cents for a stamp and 10 minutes of your time isn't a lot to ask and it can make a big difference in Randy's life right now. Ever have an ex ***** you over? Well that's what happened here! I sure that a lot of you dudes have had a similar experiences- but Randy's in jail because of it. I'm challenging each of you who has had this sort of thing happen to you, to write a nice, supportive letter to Randy. If it were you in there, and it could have been, you would see every letter as something worth more than gold. Yeah, pretty scary I think. A lawyer in my state was recently acquitted and given his law license back after he was busted for growing. It is crazy how wide the margin of "punishment" is.
