High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Arthritis..

Hi all.... I just wondered if Cannabis can be used to treat/relieve some of these conditions. All of them are on both sides of my family so im thinking the genes may pass it down in the future. Anyone have any information?

My great gran had demensha but i doubht that will passed down, well hope not.

It will help with the pain associated with Arthritis. Diabetes i dont think it will do anything for, but im not sure. Cannabis makes you feel relaxed, although heartbeat goes up, so im guessing blood pressure does too.

I'm diabetic and took my blood sugar before and after a joint. It dropped 8 points - not much of a change. Munchies are what diabetics need to worry about.

my blood pressure is lowered during use, and residual lowering into the next morning ... also, my terrible arthritis is helped beyond measure ... I had serious doubts of pot doing anything beyond helping me sleep thru the pain, but after quitting for a few days, couldnt wait to get back to my pot ... it made an incredible difference for my arthritis pain, .... plus, now I have read some research indicating that it may even work to retard further damage ... as to the dementia , I think I am way past help for that ... :smokin:

It would prolly help with all except high blood pressure, cuz ya it makes your heart beat faster, and make you pass out.

Yeah, I'll vouch for the Arthritis pain. I had knee surgery several years ago and have bad arthritic pain in it from time to time. It's not arthritis, but it's the same cause of pain and I will testify in court that it helps relieve the pain.

one of the diseases I fight daily is diabetes. yes it helps with the pain of neuropathy and helps me sleep better but you have to be careful about eating after you smoke because that will definitely put your diabetes out of whack.

As far as high blood pressure ...... low, but more freuent dosages of MJ will mitigate the affects of the initial heart rate rise. Agree with image reaper, that residual affects of MJ in the bloodstream can have longer term affects.

The root cause of my high BP is stress related, and MJ makes a difference.
