being social/ smoking weed

I am a highly sociable person at school normally, but ive been smoking a ton of weed over the past week. I havnt been high at school yet for some reason ive just been really socially awkward. Im unsure what to say and just dont have the social spark that I always have. Its accompanied by this self-conciousness even though I know that no one is judging me. Its only been this week when I smoked alot. Is it that or has staying up really late to smoke been whats buggin me?

Does pot effect how you guys socialize at all? for better or worse

well, i noticed that when i smoke alone very often and then smoke with friends, my mind treats it as i'm alone and i don't do much talking.

when i mix up who i smoke with a little bit (between friends and myself i mean) then i find that it doesn't affect me at all.

i don't think it's the pot that caused you to lose your social spark... consider what people have been talking about this week... maybe you couldn't really relate so you didn't have much to say? also social skills don't just disappear overnight. just do what you used to do in conversations.

i'm not a very extraverted person by nature but i can be if i want to be... marijuana doesn't improve my social skills at all but it brings me together with the person i'm smoking with naturally so it would seem that my social skills are better when it's just bonding

yeah marijauna kind of makes u friends o nits own. Just by smoking with a person usually makes u respect them a lil.

Actually pot makes me more open and more social, but if I smoke too much I like to not talk because I make no sense at all and it's hard to get my words out.

I'm kind of inbetween...

When sober, I'm usually fairly shy and quiet, at least around people I don't talk to on a regular basis.
Sometimes when I'm high, I find I can open up more and am more confortable talking with others. Other times, I kind of just want to go sit in a room myself and chill without anyone else to bother me.

i find that when im high i want to be left alone unless there is something to do or something that needs to be done, and i really hate talking to people who dont smoke and know your stoned because they act like your drunk and have no control and stupid shit like that, that pisses me off, makes me want to bitch slap them!

i have noticed that smoking has calmed me down so when others are talking i tend to listen more and not jump in, maybe thats what is happing to your!

Since smoking weed i have become more social and people laugh at my jokes and stuff more. I am a lot more comfortable in situations now that i wasnt in just a few months ago before i started.

When I first started I was a riot on weed, but after a few years of tokin, I find myself a bit more 'withdrawn' when around others. Although, when I get introspective, and philisophical, I tend to talk about it no matter how bizzare it may be.

I like smoking alone because it allows me to ponder things a bit more deeply,
