Going on an SSRI is kind of a drastic step to take, in order to smoke comfortably.

I was on Zoloft for a year, for a disorder that I have since been succcessfully treated for. Additionally, the manufacturer warns that you shouldn't take it for more than a .year (although many people do stay on SSRI's for much longer)

I've found that it's the type of weed that causes anxiety, along with other factors. Sativa is generally more "up", and I have a problem with it at night, unless I've had something to offset it (drink, small dose of xanax, etc.). I have no problem getting stoned in the morning or afternoon on weed that is mostly Sativa, though. I have not had hash, which is usually made from Indica, in a long time, but I don't remember ever experiencing any problems from that. Ditto for strains that are mostly Indica - which are difficult to find, and hash is impossible to get anymore where I live.

Another thing that helps is a vaporizer - the effect is much more controllable. Then when you want to get REALLY blasted, smoke a bowl or joint without, or in addition to, vaporizing - I guarantee that it's blow your mind (if you can take it, lol).
