Well im looking for a new 400watt hps lighting system but i have no credit card and theres no local "hydro store" here in chicago. Where can i go purchase my light and bulbs.

whatever you do try not to go to your local hydro shop , the prices can be a bit high.. go on line and find out if they except money orders.

Send a money order to a store.
Post office has international money orders for 3.40 a piece up to 700usd

Some malls sell "gift card" with a VISA logo on them. Apparently, they can be used anywhere like a credit card. Maybe try that. Money Orders and Cashiers Checks are what I usually do though.
