omg giving blood

ok so at my school im going to give blood for like the red cross... will they check for weed or dxm because i have taken both in this month... will it come up? can i still do it? ive never givin blood before so ya what do they do and omg i am totaly fricking out and like what if i do give blood will it effect the person??? ya im tripping please help!!

I think it does show up, but if it does, they just don't use it. They don't tell anyone either, so no worries. If it's clean, they'll use it. Then again I have never donated either this is just what all those volunteers used to tell us.

next time if your not sure if you going to test positive dont give blood, but for this time dont worry about it! give youseft a pat on the back you did a good thing, and go smoke a bowl

they usually ask you if you have done certain things within a certain time frame. THey arn't gonna go telling anyone if you have they just wont take your blood.

I only just found out today that it doesnt matter if you've been smoking weed or even taking XTC, you can still give blood, one of my mates who does both most days asked at the blood bank if he could still give blood and they said yes, as long as you havent injected anything.
Laws may be differant in the US tho.

I came back to school after a blaze while there was a blood drive and donated just so I wouldn't have to go to class. They used my blood then called me for more because it wasn't contaminated with something that most people have in their hemoglobin.

The questions are all about heroin and hookers, they dont ask about pot

its fine you have nothing to worry about

after you give blood i suggest drinking since you have less blood you get drunk faster so be careful or youll get alcohol poisoning know your limits

Don't post if you don't know what your talking about. The only things they test for is Iron levels , HIV and a few other viral diseases. They do NOT test for drugs. It asks on the paper you filled out and I don't know about other drugs but weed won't effect the recipient of your blood.
