MH lamp (color change - from white to pink) ????

I just got an 1000W MH to veg my plants for this summer and it's doing something weird ?????

When you look at the light, it changes from white to pink then back to white and back to pink ..... and it never stops!

Is this normal ?
Are all metal H light bulb that way ?

actually .... when i used to hit my head on mine it used to go pink for a sec but shortly would go back to ice white color.

I'm not kidding !

You can really notice the color change every 4 to 5 seconds. The reason why I'm asking is because I will return it to the store tomorow if it's broken or damaged.

yeah i would bring it back it sounds like a wireing issue

Does it do this even after it has been fired up for 5 minutes? My lamp flashes colors like that when it first turns on, but then it settles down after a while.

Yeah, you paid for it and if its not giving you what you want, take it back and ask for a new one, that preferably been tested.
