I don't skateboard but I have several friends that do. I rollerblade but the bearings are the same deal. Don't chunk the bearing before you try to save it unless you have another lying around.

Remove shield, drop in gasoline or mineral spirits, allow to dry and re-oil.
kknight Reviewed by kknight on . question for skaters hey im not that great at skateboarding, i just have a problem that mabey you know the answer three out of four of my wheels spin fine, but i think the other one made contact to water, and just stops immediatly after i spin it. the other ones spin for like 20-30 seconds. I used to use wd-40 for my old skate, but i learned that it screws up your bearings even more. it sucks cuz it ruins my speed and handleing. Any advice? Rating: 5
