More Ventalition Questions

Sorry members of Cannabis.com but I have a few more stupid ventalition questions.

How do you setup the cooling system for lights. How do you set it up so it does its job. Where do you connect the ducting one end is on the fan then where does the other end go after it has be attached to the light hood.

Cooling the lights is cleaning the air in the room to right.

Can I use a carbon scrubber in with the fans that will be cooling the lights.

help i am soo confused. I just don't want to mess this up.

What is the other hole used for?

on the hood are two holes
you hook up air- duct to both sides
one end is hooked up to a fan the other
to outside your grow room.
you need a glass shield also.
the heat should be sent out .
thats the idea.

do a google search m8 altho i have seen them on ebay i would get one but they are way to expensive for me so i was thinking about making one if anyone has any ideas they will be muchly apreciated

Where do I put the carbon scrubber.

The carbon scrubber is on the exhaust fan. You need one for the lights pulling the air from the outside of the room. Pushing air through the light hood and back out the otherside of the room. No light exhaust should be vent inside you room. The scrubber uses a second fan on your whole room exhaust.

ill tell you what I did , you can go from there if you like the idea... I took a 5 gallon bucket cut a hole in bottum to fit air duct tight, cut a piece of screen a little bigger than hole in bucket and put it over hole in bucket. Get some sorta thing you can use as a filter medium.. I use furnes filters cut to fit then I buy carbon that goes in a fishtank filter , small pellets , or crushed small..and sprinkle a lose layer on filter medium I do this 3 more times filter, layer of carbon, filter, layer of carbon....and so on I have the bucket mounted 6 in from celeing siting up right in the corner..air gets pulled through the bucket through the duct through the light hood through more duct then a inline fan then down through my closet floor .....no smell ,,, change carbon every flower cycle...keep filter medium spray with fabreez...good as new

Cool thanks for the how to. Could I use one big ass fan to cool my lights. And keep the room cool with fresh air.
