dam that's awesome! missed a trip out that way a few years ago... that job thing. what tricks do you use to store and hang your food? from what i hear you got the industrial strength bears

I do a lot of AT hikes in the white mountains, nh... bears aren't a huge problem but the chippys will eat all your food if you don't store and hang it

The poster who said they are going to Badger Pass in three weeks should be warned that the last day the downhill slopes are open is tommorow (April 2). However, cross-country skiing up there is still doable, it's not like there is a lack of snow. Enjoy your trip-

Went on a fun hike today. Started the hike about 1 before sunset. Weather was great today, about 72 degrees with a light wind to the west at 4 mph. Once at the top at a rock called Excaliber (pic attached) smoked a nice bowl of the dankiest bud in my new pipe. Nice and stoned I walked back down to my car as the sun was setting. Total hike 3.0 miles. Total elevation change. 1200 ft.

Thought I would post some pictures of my hike this past weekend with my girls. Peace

Also, at this trail, you are about 1/2 mile SE of the geographic center of the City of L.A. It is crazy a rainforest off Mullholland in L.A.

Easy hike...1 mile each way..but a sight to behold for sure

image #5 is a map of where the trail is
