Welcome. Do you live in San Diego? I used to live in La Mesa and hiked MTRP all the time.

hey geo you dont have to jump
its just a fun walk .you cross the river like 14 times one way
and when the waters high it makes for an adventure
just getting there is the fun part
this time im not going to pay for a jump beforehand
when i get to the bridge maybe i can work something out
if i get my wild hair. the main reason for thsi trip is to scout
out a nice place to spend the night near the best swimming hole
in summer you can camp anywhere for no charge
last time i was there i found a spot at the base of rattlesnake peak
that had a huge tree for shade ,flat ground to sleep and a deep
swim hole about 20 yards long by 15 yards across and 8-10 feet deep
if you can make just look for my bald head.Love is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
