I'm up in San Jose, we're down in the very south end of the city surrounded by mountains of 3 sides. Pretty sweet spot for someone into hiking. Anyhow, a long ways off from Riverside. San Jacinto was just a wild guess, I've driven by it a couple of times on my way out to Jtree.

There's quite a few people here that are into hiking. We should all get together for a 2-3 day "trip" up in the Sierras or something.

That would be fun as hell. They have some awesome hikes up there. Like up by Bishop.

Joshua Tree is nice this time of year. Actually it nice year round

bridge to nowhere is in azuza
east fork river.
210 fwy exit azuza hgwy 39
go up till you hit east fork bridge[near ohv rec area]
cross bridge and drive till the end of the road[sheep mt.wilderness]
4 1/2 miles one way to bridge.
bungee jumping on sat and sun

and for deep creek hot springs
i-15 exit bear valley go 10 miles
r.on central 3 miles to octillo way.
make left.2.2 miles until bowen ranch
pay to park and follow signs
