    Would this work

    I have a 25 gal tub under a metal rack that is holding up 4 , 3 gal buckets. if i drilled a ass load of holes in the bottum of the buckets and had a pump in the tub hooked to a set of drippers on a timer....would that work as a hydo ste up ? what would be the best thing to fill the buckets with ? any help i would be greatful....:thumbsup:

    sure soulds like it would be fine. Just remember to make the space between the bottom of the buckets and the rez is dark. Roots don't like light.

    Grow rocks would be great for you or just normal lava rock.

    normal red lava rock that you put around like your hedges (landscaping rock). Is that the same you are talking about?

    i think he might be on about lava rock as in (pumice stone) it is lava that has dried into stone from a volcano
    not sure tho m8 if that is what he means

    sorry m8 dident mean to confuse you
    pumice stone is lava that has cooled down and gone black people then collect this stone and use it for loads of things
    pumice stone is just the real name for lava rock ill attach a pic so ya can idetify the rock im on about

    Normal red lava rock. I could be wrong here but I think pumice rock is fine too. There was a time when it was thought it had some acid in it but I don't that's the case anymore. I think they proved it was fine for garden use. I could be wrong so you may want to check it our your self.

    The Red lava rock is fine though.
