Insomnia Due To CannabisI don't have problems sleeping and i do smoke daily most of the time (i shud'nt really cuz im only 15 and i think it'd be better if i only toked on weekend) but yea, i ussaly go bed about 12 and i ussaly fall asleep within half an hour. I acculy get tired really easy (without weed i mean). go bed about 12, wake up about 7:30 for school, and when i get bck from school i ussaly already feel very tired. But i ussaly don't go bed high, i ussaly go bed when the highs worn off and im burnt out. But most of the time i go bed without smokin anybud. Mybe you shud just toke in the daytime and avoid smoking before sleeping.

Insomnia Due To Cannabisi already posted my thoughts on it, in the original thread, but here it is again:
you say you've been an insomniac for 2 years.. ok then you say you quit smoking cigs 2 years ago... one of the withdrawls is restless-ness/sleeplessness.. i'm no doctor but that does seem to be too much of a coincidence to me... if i was going to make an educated guess i'd say it's due to you quitting tobacco...

Insomnia Due To Cannabisbtw, my thoughts don't nessicarily dictate any physical connection between quitting tobacco and the insomnia, because it's widely agreed upon that nicotien only stays in your system for like 72 hours, but it could be mentally connected to it... the human brain is capable of so much, woudln't suprise me if that was the problem.

Insomnia Due To CannabisWhat happens if you stop smoking weed....can you sleep then..the only way to find out if it is pot is to cut it out for a while.........the only way to be sure if it is really bugging you

You tried the doctor mate..he might just give you something to help you sleep if it is persistant insomnia(ie you keep going back and bugging his ass)

Im not advocating using Benzo's........but sometimes you only need to get back into a normal pattern...just MHO

Anyway good luck mate insommnia is a fucker.......

The only sure fire cure i found was a night out followed by vigorous sex...

 Peace

Insomnia Due To CannabisShit i have had bad sleeping problems for the past couple years too. Except i just started smoking about 3 months ago. I am almost always up past 1 am and i get up at about 6 45 am. Except one weekends. I sleep for at least 9 hours a day on weekends. But i can function easily on little sleep. And sometimes i do use cannabis to help me sleep. Originally posted by Great Spirit

Insomnia Due To CannabisInsomnia can be indirectly linked to cannabis usage. A lot of things cause insomnia. Depression (from personal experience) can cause insomniac behaviour, as well can anxiety. Paranoia and anxiety go hand in hand--cannabis usage has been linked to paranoia. And axiety can lead to depression. And we all know what severe depression leads to. Basically, if you keep smoking marijuana you'll kill yourself and I use that phrase loosely. Originally Posted by Tomthehippie Originally Posted by Tomthehippie
