No, cannabis doesnt cause insomnia. Are you on any other medication. It might be because your smoking a sativa which is a heady high. Get an indica strain, smoke as much as you normally do, then lay down, listen to some music and you'll fall alseep. If that doesny help, then maybe you should see your doctor about pills. If you do, make sure you ask if smoking cannabis with them will cause any effects. He shouldnt mind that you smoke cannabis, if he knows whats he's talking about he'll know its actually healthy for you.

it is the Cannabis causing your insomnia,

i'm going to start sounding like a Cannabis basher soon but I have known a good few people who have smoked through my life and an unreasonably high proportion of them have had sleep problems,

they fool themselves by insisting that Cannabis eventually gets them off to sleep,

in the beginning this would have been true but as your body is conditioned to regular exposure to Cannabis it finds it harder and harder to relax into a state that will allow deep sleep,

Cannabis in all reality should not be used on a daily basis, it should be used at the weekends, like going out at the weekend for a drink.

sometimes it can help me sleep, but only after the high has wore off. I'm a night owl anyway, so whether I smoke or not, I'm still awake too late.

yea i realy think its the cannabis.. i stoped for awhile and i was sleeping fine.. then i got a que smoked the lot over 2 weeks now i cant sleep again.. but its reeaaly getting 2 me!!

i would realy like to find some hard facts to prove that it is cannabis thats stopping me from sleeping.. any`1 got any ideas bout this?

Yeah cannabis interferes with your sleep....specifically with your REM period of sleep....it may knock you out, but it doesn't allow you to get the period of sleep where your body/brain rejuvinates....

I thought about this the other day, and I guess its up to you to decide if getting hardly any sleep is better than getting more sleep, but waking up just as tired.....

I guess it also depends what time you go to sleep....cause the effects of the weed will have worn off halfway through the night...so if you go to bed a couple of hours earlier than you normally would then you should get at least a half decent nights sleep...

lol this is just my thoughts by the way....After the first paragraph I don't know if it will actually work or not!

i cant sleep till i get high.
i will get hyper as fuck at night
if i dont blaze.
as soon as i hit the bong ill get sleepy.

if i wake up like at three in the morn
cuz the dogs barking or whatever i have
to take a bong rip again to knock back out.
