To Kill an American...
1st he says
"american are Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish etc,"
and then he says
Americans had given more than any other nation to the poor in Afghanistan
and
"The national symbol of America, The Statue of Liberty , welcomes your tired and your poor, the wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the people who built America."
sort of contradictory
i am not american and i totally agree with hidden beauty
I don't have a bad word to say about Americans but I do have to comment on your big ego's.It personally makes me feel like you think you are somewhat better then us when I am sure England and some other countries deserve recognition too.
I AM PROUD TO BE MALTESE AND NOT TO BE AMERICAN!!!

To Kill an American...
When will this "my country...your country" crap end? We are finally a global community! Like it or not, we are all stuck here on this "Blue Marble" and it's high time:stoned: we all realized that when we hurt our neighbors, we hurt ourselves.
With the development of the internet we have shrunk the world considerably. We can now enjoy goods and services and brotherhood across the globe in real time. We all share a common goal even if we don't practice it, it's called living in peace and harmony. Some people (not countries because a country is only a collection of people in a geographic area) only see their happiness at the expense of others. But rest assured, one day as the world shrinks even further, we will be forced to respect our neighbors or simply eliminate them. I think we're in the midst of witnessing the evolution of global brotherhood accepting diversity on a scale never seen before.
As an American I find it grossly unjust to look into the past for examples of what makes an American or any other country what they are! You are what you do, not what was done years ago by people are already dead. We all sprung from the Earth and here we live and die together. Just because the government of a country does not always represent it's people's beliefs or wishes, does not mean that the country isn't loaded with wholesome people who would like nothing better than to live in peace with the rest of the world.
Give it time, may take many many years or decades, but one day we'll all be dependent on one another to survive and prosper.
Finally.....Yes America is corrupt, deceiving, hypocritical, invasive and about everything else you can think of, but like the rest of the world, we are evolving and learning where our true values lie. Luckily we have the ability to vote out of office those who refuse to represent our wishes. We're flawed beyond comprehension; however, we are so empowered at the personal level that we can do something about it. VOTE!

To Kill an American...
everyone wants to be the best
who cares what the next man has.
just get high and stay up.
life is too short to fight.
there is fun to be had.
fuck the world and its problemsLove is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

Our government lies, sure, what government doesn't? It's ALWAYS been that way. I find it hilarious that people somehow think our government never lied before the Bush administration.

American government......stinks. They are actors acting infront of a massive media mad world. They say that soldiers fight for freedom, that is a lie....they fight for political gain. Money is what matters to them, thats all anyone needs to know. The worlds biggest business men are in politics.
Cheers!
