Misting system question
The first few weeks of flower that should be fine but once the buds start to form I would not.
Just make sure you don't burn the plant from misting. Really it depends on the size of the water drops if the misting burns the plants or not. My fogger does not burn plants but a spray bottle mist can. FYI.
The last 3 weeks to 4 weeks of flower I would not unless you have a sulfur burner or another way to deal with the possibility of mold or some other problem with excessive water build up in the crack and corners of your room.
Look for white powder too on leafs and the buds, that is not a good thing to find.

Misting system question
Yes, you should stop misting while flowering. First, low humidity stimulates trichome formation as the plant tries to avoid dehydration. Also, misting during flowering would promote mold and rot in the buds.
