Man the naivity of some folk, how many people do you think you would be competing with for a job in a coffee shop. To work in the Dam one of the things they want is multilingual people because of the amount of German and French tourists, it would help if you can speak at least 3 languages. More importantly the rules of working there are getting stricter , if the only reason you want to live in The Netherlands is because of pot then I would say you are typical of the kind of person the Dutch would rather stayed at home.
Holland is not a country of potheads, they are in general just the same as folks anywhere else and if you think living there is gonna be some kind of pot heaven then you are sadly mistaken. The Dam is not representative of all Holland it is but a small part.
