There aren't dope vending machines (at least anywhere outside a coffeshop). Mainly because cannabis is still technically illegal in Holland. They just "ignore" it in place of arresting people for it. Cannabis sales are allowed in a limited number of cafes only (they had to exist when the government gave exemptions to current coffeshops to allow for the sale of up to 5 grams per customer, with a limit of how much total stock they can have at any one time). There are also what are called "smart shops" that sell things such as mushrooms and other legal substances. This is however learned from reading and watching a few good documentries about Holland and Amsterdam.
