Most poison warning labels tell you not ot induce vomiting. however, this is because some poisons are corrosive and would burn out your throat and kill you. so really, it comes down to what you drank. if eat poisonous berries it's a pretty safe bet to puke it up and you'll be a lot better. if you swallow something from under the sink, it could kill or severely injure you to puke it up. The best thing of course is to call 911...... or superman.
