Americans being bombarded by anti-marijuana commercials
I saw that one today too, was disturbing, but I won't complain since meth needs to get the fuck off my planet.

Americans being bombarded by anti-marijuana commercials This is blatant propaganda for gearing americans for the extradition of Mark Emery. There are so many commercials that it might just change public perception of the good herb. Why don't they spend some fucking money on the real problems of the world like meth/crack ops and prescription drug abuse which could kill people. Kids are looking for other ways to get high, now they are turning to dust cans?? WTF!?? Rating: 5

Yeah meth is the only drug that I really think can't be used responsibly. It just seems like a nasty drug to me.

Well, what are we all waiting for? Let's make some pro-marijuana propaganda! We can't just get stoned and sit on our asses if we want the War on Drugs to end. We have to get stoned and fight the establishment.

Yeah I just don't see how smoking pot has any connection with putting your fist in your mouth, but maybe im just a pothead with my fist in my mouth.

If I had the money I think the commercial I would make would open up on a guy smoking cigarettes, a guy drinking alcohol, a guy injecting some sort of opiate via hypodermic needle, and then I guy smoking weed. This is when I come out and say, "Go ahead, ask your doctor which one of these is the least harmful" and then the NORML logo comes up.
I'm not sure how I want to end it though. Either "Marijuana, the REAL truth" or "Cannabis, my anti-drug"
By the way, I did see that commercial where they say "when you start letting others control your life, you lose yourself" or something like that. All I could help but think to myself was
That's why I smoke weed!Mira el foto grande

The only REAL drug war going on is between the "legal" pharmaceutical companies and the proponents of the "illegal" version of drugs that people use to self-medicate. Do you really think it's a coincidence that these anti-pot commercials have begun almost immediately after places like Denver and a growing number of states have voted to decriminalize it for medicinal purposes?
This is specifically designed to get the VOTERS, not the SMOKERS motivated. If they can influence grandparents, parents, and other older people who DON'T smoke, those people actually VOTE!!!!!!!!! If people who want the legislation changed would take the time to participate in voting, things might change. Those commercials aren't aimed at teenagers or even adults who already smoke. They are aimed at the voters!
The drug cartel that scares me MOST is the one that produces all the legal prescriptions that we are medicating our society with. And they are certainly behind the commercials downplaying the role medicinal marijuana can have in improving the lives of people who suffer from serious diseases. The only loser if marijuana is deemed to be a legal medicine is the drug company who can no longer have a monopoly on the drugs they prescribe.
I wish more of us would help get things changed by voting out of office jerks who do not reflect your views and put into office people who actually have a mind that isn't controlled by drug companies, oil companies, etc.
Onward!

Graph... that would actually be a good basis for a commercial. Good idea! I mean, out of 4 choices you have there, of course marijuana is the safest. And there is NO denying that fact. It's just the pharmaceutical companies don't want you to know that. They will keep forcing prescription drugs down our throats until this whole world needs some form of medication. Dude, I would try to hook up with a pro-pot advocate group such as NORML or someone who has the money to do a commercial like that. Even something as small as that can be broadcasted to thousands who share our same views about pot!

Well said, onward..

No. The mainstream capitalist media don't have the balls. They're not about truth. They're about profits. And they're going to lose a lot of profits if people can accuse them of trying to infect our helpless children's minds with pro-drug propaganda.

I don't think they're about to allow a pro-marijuana advertisement on there, or anything that encourages an illegal behavior.
We're going to have to distribute our pro-weed propaganda by different means. Leaflets, flyers, the Internet, books, music, there's all sorts of avenues you could pursue. But not television or radio or anything controlled by the capitalist powers or the FCC (a.k.a Fucking Corporate Censorship, or the First-amendment Crushing Commission...)
