Scissor hash is nice. The stuff that gathers on the scissors when manicuring. I just left it for 3 weeks to 'cure'.

I also just made a small batch of oil out of my homegrown tonight. Oil is the strongest cannabis product I've ever had before. I haven't smoked it in years. I'm yet to try this batch myself, but I gave some to a friend who hasn't seen, heard of or had it before. The mix was made so that one small cone was the equivelant of about 1/3 of a gram. He doesn't smoke much so it blew him away.
Some stuck to me by accident so I licked it off. Within 20 mins I was really feeling it.
You have to be careful with some strains when you make it. Don't use the ones that already give you a bitey, throaty, snuffy hit. Otherwise your lungs will spasm as soon as the oil smoke hits them.
The taste is also good. It's just like your strain was 5 times as potent. (Potency depends on how much oil you use)
Using the butane method is quick, extremely easy and you can do it with as little as a gram. If you only do small amounts, the risk of injury from explosion would be minimal. I do it while holding my breath and then get straight out of the area.
