    cheap and easy CO2

Education is half the battle, I hope britewire learns and does not get pissed and run off. Many people are here with great skills and can help anyone learn.

Zandor, thank you for that wonderful read. Have you read anything about "Global Dimming"? There is a BBC documentary of under that title. You may find it interesting. I found it on TorrentSpy, I will be seeding it for the next few days since I mentioned it.

I'm not pissed at all, it could be very propable that we did something wrong. We did have a co² measuring device and kept it on 1400ppm. I'll start another test next grow (in about 6 weeks) and I'll ask some of the more experianced co² users here for advice.

good read Zandor, that's good news about our mother earth. It's kinda like how the planet counteracts to our use and abuse to her and thankfully my CO2 equipment is not in vain.

great thread guy's...I am starting this experiment...I know Smoker(by the way, I have grown 2 of his strains. The sexy orange skunk; Is some trippy chitman!!!), and, if he likes this method, then I say try it...as Zandor stated, anything above 300ppm is wonderful for your plants...thanks.lw

    I can't wait to try this! I am getting around 1/2g per watt...without Co2. Later.lw

Starting at a base line of what the plant likes, usualy takes about a year.
.5 or 1/2 grams per watt is very hard unless your scrog.
You also need to add time to the math. Pinching and trimming and even lighting to the plants.
Its to bad most new growers, do not know it , a real bitch to get the TOTAL system going.
Co2 works real bitchen if its automated to about 1500 ppm average. Thats why so many people spend the $1200 for a good system. With a 20-30 pot system it pays for itself in one crop.
You know you have it dialed in, but do not panic it may cost you a crop or two.
I must admit not much has changed over the last 30 years of growing, except for Al Gore internet.
grams/watts/month is where its at ,, otherwise its B.S.
Have fun and tell no one, when you get big never post.

chisme, that's great. Marble chips and lime chips work too.

I didn't like lugging gallon jugs of vinegar. See how long the bubbles last. The egg shells float at first. That's ok. They will eventually sink.

    Keep us posted.
