POLY GROW BAG YIELDS ?
Hi to all
I would like to know if anyone has any opinions about yields using poly grow bags. Last year I used 2 gallon poly grow bags with fantastic results, my current crop I used 1 gallon poly grow bags and I feel that the yields are lower (Also this is a winter grow which I have been told are never as good as spring grows), unfortunately I am growing different strains so I can not be positive, I would love to hear from other readers experiences with Poly Grow Bags.aquageo407 Reviewed by aquageo407 on . Your using 1 gallon bags..so the plants can't grow as big. Also the more root space the better the yield(if your roots are cramped in a 1 gallon bag, thats probably why they aren't lookin too good.)I use 3 gallon bags.I would never use a smaller bag then that!

I like the 3-gallon bags but they need a few more drain holes imo.
The good thing about them is you can shape them and if you think the roots are getting bound you can smush the bag to losen up the root ball and the dirt. (not to the point that you damage the roots). You can't do that with a pot or 5 gallon bucket.
The smaller the bag the smaller the root ball will be and the smaller the yield will be as well. fyi

I use 3 gal grow bags. I add 30% more perlite to soil that already has perlite and about 10-15% vermicilite for water retention. In a 70-75degree environment with 45% R/H I only need to water once a week during the flowering stage.

Zandor those are not my plants. I wish they were. That is just a pic of the style I grow with. If I was growing I would not be on the net as much as I am. I used to spend all day everyday pretty much in the growroom and playing with my dog. Soon enough
