Need light expert

Have a question if you don't mind me adding on to yours.....what is the real harm in using general house lights. I mean can you get a few plants growing with them and produce good buds (not the best but good)?? or os it that you need these lights to grow them faster and produce more?

House lights will NEVER EVER grow a single plant, or seedling, or anything. The plant needs a certain spectrum to grow, and a certain number of lumens.

House lights do not have any lumens or the right spectrum. All they do is make plants strech towards them and then the seedling will fall over and die.

THe cheapest way to actually grow is using CFL's which can be bought from basically any hardware store. Otherwise invest in a HPS and MH lighting system. If you wanna grow serious bud thats the way to go.
