I like good sigs but what pisses me off is the amount of space some people use up with useless sigs like this

Now obviously chisme feels the need to massage his own ego in a big way, really is this what you think the sig box is for?
I enjoy wittiness and even anarchic but egotistical just pisses me off.
Do any of you folks feel the same way and should sigs be restricted?

I think the sigs should be restricted a bit,it does get a bit tiresome having to scroll down 1/4 of a page to read the next post.

Depends on the message in that signature.

It does but there is no need to take up loads of space.Your own sig is an example that you can say more then one thing without taking up loads of space.

It is ok if it has a point or doesn't take up half a page and it isn't offensive.
I just think some folk can get carried away and after all it appears everytime you post so I think after around 20 views most people ignore the sigs anyway just seems like a waste of space.
Succinct and to the point is my preffered style.

Good point there are some that are 1/2 of a page with type so large you read it across a room. Still there is nothing I can about them. That is up to Ron but I am sure he will read this and know your opinion.

I meant it's the perfect example of how I sig size SHOULD be. Three quotes, tightly packed, takes up very little space.
