Shell still on Cotyledon
What will happen to a plant which has just sprouted and still has some of its seed shell on it??
I tried to remove it with a pair of tweezers with no sucess.
I was afraid of shocking the root system any more than I had so I just left it on hoping in a day or 2 it will fall off on its own.
What should I feed a newly sprouted seed?
First time growing my own...
N E advice would be most helpful
The medium I have it in now is 1/2 potting soil and 1/2 perlite. It is under a 4ft 4bulb 40watts flourecent bulbs in a 5ft x 2.2ft x 6ft closet. I have the lights on a chain so I can easily raise or lower them. 2 bulbs are cool whites and 2 soft whites. Just to recap
Am I on the right track for my first grow.. And is ok for the shell to still be on the cotyledonloosewheel Reviewed by loosewheel on .
