No, ive listened to every rap i can. In my younger days i used to not mind it. But listen to what they right about. Its all worthless. I like some hip hop, like outkast and common and the roots, they all have good instremental thing in their music. I also like the beastie boys. They dont have to rap about raping chiicks and how much money they have and what cars they drive.haha strong message. rap.. no.. RETARDED. And as for liking rock bands on the radio, ahha bullshit, radio is horrible. I might go as far to say pop rcok bands may be just as bad as rap....No but very close

Im not closed minded.. I Love music, i give everything a chance, but rap is just horrible music. I have a beat machine on my computer that can make rap beats so its not too complicated.

Go to a rap concert and tell me that's not music. Are you saying that world music, with simply drums beating isn't expression of music as well? Not all music is made to be conceptual art, and musical masterpieces and isn't a box-like definition. Some music is simply made to dance, get lifted, jump up and down. Music is boundless, as long as you have a beat, you are expressing yourself musically.

I think rap is the same as in any other genre there is good and bad. The best stuff is the old school shit. The last good cd I heard was Common which came out last year I think.
