Ever watch that show "Venom ER" on Animal Planet? It's liek a reality show featuring people who've been bitten by snakes, scorpions, black widows. etc. They've had a copule of people with widow bites on that show and none ever died. Most went through a very long period of agonizing pain, however. One guy said that when the pain was at its worst he was hoping he would die just to get it over with. Doesn't sound fun.

I think it is quite a weak thing to do but it depends on the reasons why they want to do it.

I'm all for euthanasia,if our pets are suffering then we put them out of their misery and people should have the same right without being judged.

Ugh I fuckin hate spiders period. I wont worry about one killing me because I'm like an exterminator on sight, as soon as I see one it will either get sprayed, squashed, burnt or just fragged :P.
