New Pro-Cannabis Website

I don't know how to say this without sounding at least slightly desperate, but I wanted to publicly let everyone know about a new website that is different from any other that you've seen before. This site (www.FreeTheTree.com) is owned and operated solely by me so it may not be the most professionaly designed sites, it is still worth a look. What it does is collect revenue that is used to fund cannabis law reform organizations as well as certain legal defense funds (i.e. Marc Emery Extradition Fund). I'd also greatly appreciate any feedback on how the site could be improved.

I certainly hope I'm not violating any forum rules by making this post. If I am, I sincerely apologize.

It should be working fine. Depending on if your connection is slow, it may take a while for the site to load as it currently is slightly heavy of the graphics and repetative code, although this is something that I'm currently working on improving.

I just wanted to let all of you know that I have hired someone to completely redesign the entire site so it will look much nicer. I'm also planning on adding some big updates to the site soon. I won't lie though, it's been tough getting a steady amount of people clicking on the "Daily Free Donation" button. Currently I really only have 5 loyal people that are clicking daily. I know that one of the main reasons is because I haven't advertised it to any significant degree, but that is all going to change by the end of next month (I'll start advertising in High Times and Cannabis Culture!). Recently I've been going over some figures and noticed something that I don't think I've really discussed with anyone yet, so I figured why not do it here where so many people can read it.

Now the basic financial structure for FreeTheTree is like this:

All revenue earned from visitors clicking on the "Daily Free Donation" button is placed in a money market account. This account earns a current interest rate of 4.45% ever 7 days. Now according to some math that I've been doing (I have be smoking a little so I there is the chance I'm completely wrong), if I were to get only 100 people to consistantly click on the button daily and put all the revenue into the money market account, within a year FreeTheTree would be able to donate up to $9,000 to cannabis law reform organizations. Imagin what could happen if 500, 1000, 2000 (or more) people click on that link every day!?!?!? I truly believe that this site not only has the potential to succeed, but with the support of the cannabis community, it could possibly change the cannabis community forever. So I make one last formal request from these boards (before I focus completely on promoting the site through conventional methods) for people to visit the site, suggest it to your friends, and click daily so we can all make a difference in our world.
