many people here have tried that... they get an un-emotional generic 'thank you for your support' letter... which if they send a letter back like that after you sent in a letter with 'negatives' in it.. it could only mean one thing... they don't give a fuck and dont' even bother to open much less read your letter....

now that's a good idea... i disagree with you on the whole write your congressman thing cuz i've seen where it gets you, but i strongly agree with you on your views of just doing something as small as helping elementary kids, while not having some major impact on the govt. or world in general, it would still be helping your fellow man, not to mention, maybe some day someone will repay the favor when you're down on your luck..
