    Bud butter questions

I have probably read every single way on how to make this, but i still have a few questions getting into detail.

Do you want you break up the bud real fine, or kind of leave it in big chunks?

After straining it, do you have to refrigerate it? i know that it seperates the water at this time, but is the water really necessary, or will it make the butter all gross?

Im still in high school so i live with my parents, i am rarely home alone, but when i am, i want to take that chance to cook some of this up, but i hear it smells up the house a ton, but is it easy to cover, and to get out, maybe just cook something stronger smelling after it? i had the idea to cook it outside on my grill(has a stovetop on it) but we currently have like 7 inches of snow and my grill is broken so thats out of question and i really wann make this. Any suggestions?

The butter will rise to the top after a few hours, and you skim it off.
Ive also SIMMERED the pot in oil (veg/olive) or butter directly for 5-10 min.. works great!
Chop/grind it up as best you can before.

    Beware..It REEKS!
Its like nothing youve ever smelled before, it stays a while.
If youre worried Mom or Dad might wander in... Id think about it.
