nice pipes man what kinda wood hope its a hard wood though so the bowl dont char up and stuff i used to make wodden pipes long time ago they worked good till i got a real pipe bowl(metal) and then started making wood pipes thay would fit the bowl. and i used permant markers on mine then coverd it with some sorta polyurathane or something that dried quick(dident put it in the bowl dont worry) i like using the markers because you can still see the wood grain....
