I was wondering witch won gives better result, if you are to chose HPS or MH.

Probably MH. There are some enhanced spectrum MH that you can use for flowering.

Also, there are switchable ballasts, that you can run a MH, then switch the bulb to a HPS with no problems.

Id say an MH with red spectrum proporties comparable to a 36000K light source

MH is all right for the generally better UV-B radiation output -- which works to improve the quantity of THC on and in your buds.

But as far as the lumen radiation output -- the shit that fattens the buds -- HPS is your lamp.

You won't get the quality with the HPS, but you'll get the quantity.

And vice versa with the MH -- quality, not quantity.

It all falls on what you -- the grower -- wants out of their plant.
