hey all , i was just wondering what are the possible symptoms and medical issues that would allow one to use weed legally?? i understand a doc has to sign a paper but what would convince him to sign it? thanks for any replies...

1st, you need to be a resident in a state that has legalized med use and new york still has a long way to go...sorry to say.

tell your doctor you have terrible migraines....which I do and once Massachusetts legalizes medical use of cannabis, I'll be first in line to get my medicine, or I'll just move to Rhode Island, Maine or Vermont. Although you don't really have much to worry about since you live in New York. Your state has decriminalized cannabis to some degree. Here are the exact details:

Possession
25 g or less (first offense) civil citation $100
25 g or less (second offense) civil citation $200

25g or less... hmm, what if you get stopped and youve got a shitload of spliffs on you, each with .5g of baccy and between .5 to 1g of Herb in? Would they just weigh the finished product, or have to pick out all the little flakes of Herb and weigh them all out?
