Even if the government did totally collapse, the vast majority of Americans are currently in favor of having a centralized government, and there are lots of groups which would immediately start building armies and governments (lots of people have political agendas, remember). And what with all the crisis it is entirely possible a lot of people might be receptive to a very strong totalitarian-like government. In any case, it's hard to imagine a scenario in which the government suddenly collapses due to some crisis and the people are just okay with that.
And contrary to what you might think, the chaotic state of affairs caused by a government collapse is not "anarchy". The word anarchy comes from the Greek for "without rulers". Anarchy describes a society where nobody can force their will upon other people by means of threats or violence. But of course, in such a of social chaos caused by sudden collapse of the government, there would be lots of groups trying to enforce their wills on others. It would not be anarchistic at all. Real anarchy could only come about by a conscious revolution of the masses to reject all coercive powers, be they presidents, legislators, policemen, bosses, landlords, gods, priests, murderers, rapists or thieves. Anarchy is not the lack of large scale social organization. Quite the opposite—such organization is absolutely necessary for anarchy, but it has to be strictly democratic, egalitarian, bottom-up organization, without any power hierarchies or central authorities.

From what I can find about the idea, it seems to be that if we just return to the original constitutional principles everybody will be happy and corruption will never creep into politics again. All we have to do is keep the government from interfering too much in our lives and everything will be okay.

Only abolishing them can do that. The only way to get rid of people abusing power and money is to get rid of power and money.
From the Stone Age to the Spanish Revolution, history shows again and again that societies can run according to egalitarian principles, and that all authorities are unnecessary as well as harmful to liberty. We have been able to live without state and economic authorities before, and there is nothing preventing us from doing it again. I can only conclude that we would be much better without legislators and bosses, if we had instead a libertarian communist system in which everybody was on equal footing and had no authority to dictate to others what they must and must not do. Anything short of that is not "freedom and justice for all".

"First off a punk from vietnam??? Are you kidding me???? Thats pretty insulting considering how fucked things were over there, you didnt need to say that at all. Cant blame the guy for taking his life, im sure it fucked with him and you make it sound like its his fault. Im glad you said that right off the bat cause IMO that labels you as a fat mouthed punk bitch who thinks he knows everything and talks like it......."

You can't blame the guy because you're sure it fucked with his life? That just goes to show you prefer to assume the world is one thing when indeed it is another. That punk from Vietnam was a punk long before he joined. He went over there thinking he was going to become some type of war hero and never saw one bit of action. He returned with stories about his "combat action" and we later discovered from others stationed with him that he never saw action and made up his "hero of the army" fantasy. I suggest you quit jumping to conclusions as it makes you look like a fool.
God, it's hard to find a place to begin so here goes. I find it very easy to analyze you. You are as shallow as a comic book. There are many just like you and it's clear that you have a desire to live out a fantasy that you yourself construct as you go along. I simply pointed out that you lack the ability and sense to be able to survive in a "real" chaotic situation. How do I know this?....simple, you mentioned hitting gun stores, pharmacies, killing the guy who sells you dope for his stash, defending a farm, surviving bullet wounds which only hit your arm....on and on...obviously showing you only desire to see yourself challenged with the survival in a dream where you can't possibly die.
This discussion only demonstrates that you are only venting your frustrations on anyone who exposes you for what you are. It's real easy to determine when a child is immature, it doesn't take more than a few sentences out of his mouth to show he's got a lot of growing up to do. So yes, I can easily analyze you from the few contradicting paragraphs you posted. They are simple constructs of rather shallow thoughts which show your total lack of intelligence.
I compare you to a child who spends more time in fantasyland than in realityworld. I know, I know, this is all just a "what if" scenario, but your solutions to each scenario only shows that you prefer to be in a world that you can control with a trigger instead of a complex world requiring much more to make it better.
Finally.....I DID re-read your posts and have seen so many contradictions in the very same paragraphs! Dude, you are seriously unfocused, incapable of discussing a subject intelligently, running off in every direction until you find one that works, you personally attack readers who challenge you, only showing that you use re-direction as a means to avoid exposure as the incompetent you are. Yes I am a "fat mouthed punk bitch" who can debate intelligently on subjects of fact or in your case fantasy. I took great pleasure in exposing you to the other readers because I can't stand to see someone bullshitting others even if it is in a "fantasy".
I'm certain you'd wet yourself at the first sign of trouble and be dead from friendly fire before you ever reach your hideout.
