I'll head for the hills, and live off the land. Build a little hut, and grow corn, and shit!
I have a few weapons, but I'd have to knock off a gun shop for additional ammo. The bears can be a problem in the wild, so...
Not so worried about people, as I won't be around them.

for real-life scenario's and hands-on survival schooling, check out the annual rainbow gatherings. this year's gather will be in southwestern colorado area (site has not been announced yet but telluride area is more than likely) and there 100's people who live in the woods year-round on hand to show others how to build everything from shelters to sanitary shitters...along with ovens made from the earth dug at the campsite and water from our hand-dug springs/water system! details for this years gather (june 15th +/- to july 7th +/-) will be announced here as they pop up...
it's a good way to hook up with what's happening with the off-the-grid people and new & old-time hippies...

there are anywhere between 10-25,000 people at the gatherings and with this year's gather being held in such a central location, i would expect 25,000+ over the 3-4 weeks plus a few thousand always stay late (well into august) for clean-up...
